Hey, we’re not doing the every-other-week update too badly right now! Sorry it’s…every….OTHER…week, but y’know, work busytimes, etc. etc. Anyway, enjoy Edmund’s bastard!face and Florian unpacking. After all, someone’s gotta do work around there–and some people are just too busy getting backrubs or being a looking like a smug asshole to do anything else.

In other news–

-We’re both enjoying the Knight Life book put out by the fine ladies at Love Love Hill! They do awesome stuff.

-We both went to NYC to visit our good friend HamletMachine and came back with a huge pile of comics from MoCCA! Scope  all of our combined treasure!

-We’re working on some special side projects that we should have done with by the end of July, so we’ll keep you posted! 8)

Yay, a new page! Now you get to see (part) of the new room, which basically provides much-needed space for a third body, what with Florian becoming a de facto roommate and all. He even gets his own uniform, now that he’s been enrolled as a student (thanks to Edmund’s shady ways). Yes, everything APPEARS to be going swimmingly…

I’d act like we were surprising you guys with more pages, but you all knew more were coming…right? Clearly, there were questions left unanswered! Such as:

“Do they eat anything other than cupcakes in space?” (answer: yes, but algae isn’t as fun to draw or as appetizing)

“How long can three people share a room that small?” (answer: not long at all!)

and

“What happens after that threesome?” (answer: LOTS OF AWKWARD i.e. everyone tries to pretend it didn’t happen…except for Florian, who is convinced that everyone’s best friends now).

Anyway, on to Chapter…I mean, Mission 2!

Hi guys, exciting things in the pipeline!

First off–Ocicatsy’s secretly been revamping the site, so expect a makeover in the coming weeks!

Second off–we will have a print copy of chapter 1 (plus bonuses!) available before the end of the year! Actually, it’ll be ready in time for Yaoi-con come October, so be prepared for a print version of all them sparkles.

Thirdly–yup, chapter 2 stuff is underway! If you follow the Misadventure Annex tumblr you may have seen some roughs and such–it’s coming along swimmingly!

Fourthly–if you haven’t been following the Misadventure Annex tumblr, may I persuade you with the promise of the original pencil test pages for chapter 1? 8)

Lastly, thanks everyone for all the kind words and feedback! We thrive on it (along with our steady diet of tea and baked goods)!

As chapter 1 draws to a close (whoa!), Ocicatsy will be taking a slightly different approach for the final pages. You know how the Lord of the Rings movies were all shot at the same time? Yeah, it’ll be like that! Well, except not on film, and there won’t be any elves or hobbits, and…okay, the only thing that’ll be similar is that the last few pages will be drawn at the same time, so there won’t be another update for a few weeks.

Hi guys, sorry that our actual posts with ‘just words’ as opposed to ‘words and pictures’ are few and far between (…) — hopefully we can totally fill this space up with words and more words as a 2012 resolution! Anyway, thanks for reading our comic! We get really psyched when we google ‘Spacejinx’ and come up with stuff that’s not from either of us 8) even if it’s not in English!

This past weekend, Kat and I celebrated a magical holiday known as Nic Cagemas! We exchange gifts and bake a cake.

Kat has been sweet enough to share her epic Nicmas gift-a short smutty comic that’ll make sense to maybe one other person other than myself. For a small amount of context, replace ‘space future’ with ‘present day Paris’, ~*sparkly robot*~ with ‘bespectacled hipster’, and ‘dudes banging’ with ‘dudes bangi–’ oh wait. ANYWAY there’s dudes banging which requires no explanation.
