It is definitely a lot of effort on Edmund’s part to keep up the appearance that he can take care of himself (even though it’s pretty obvious he can’t!). “Appearance”…yeah, I don’t think he’s really fooling anyone.

I am amazed that that catch worked, they’re both slippery with goo, that catch attempt could have failed badly (if amusingly for those of us watching).
