Hi guys! Sorry we’re late, but the holiday season is upon us and between Thanksgiving and Christmas and Nic Cage’s birthday we probably won’t be updating as often for the next month or so. On the flip-side, we’re beginning to wrap up part 1 (smutsmutsmut).

As far as page 31 commentary goes, it takes a while before Florian catches on to the concept of ‘high-five’. ROBOTS JUST DON’T GET IT.

As a little behind-the-scenes bonus, here’s the 2011 Nic Cageday cake that Ocicatsy so nicely stenciled (and I baked)!

We’re almost done with our site revamp, but since we don’t have that up yet (with a shiny new fanart section) check out this lovely fanart that JD from Mahou Shonen Fight! graced us with! While we were at Yaoi-Con, we were fortunate enough to meet up with both JD and Dustyjack (the geniuses behind MSF) and if you like sparkles and magical boys you should totally check out their comic!

Happy impending Turkey Day, you guys! Or as Ocicatsy and I like to call it, ‘Nic Cage Day’ (thus called because we bake a cake, write Nic Cage’s name on said cake, and then eat it while watching a Nic Cage movie).

I’m sitting here eating Phish Food and trying to think of some witty comment to put here, but I got nothin’. Other than I love excuses to bust out that skull n’ crossbones background.

Note: presence of skull n’ crossbones does not mean that Edmund is a pirate. Neither is Benedict, in fact. Space pirates come LATER.

I’d been watching way too much of the original series Star Trek, and this happened. Just like Kirk, Florian would lose his shirt every episode!

Ocicatsy’s version of Florian’s ‘magical boy’ outfit, in the vein of Sailor Moon/Princess Tutu/etc.–complete with animal sidekick!

Don’t worry, page update next week! Halloween is just too good an opportunity to pass up when it comes to silly costumes.
